Grant Schlotman Named 2010 Father of the Year

Grant Schlotman of Milford was honored as 2010 Nebraska Father of the Year at the fourth annual Celebration of Fatherhood luncheon held June 17 at Embassy Suites in Lincoln.
Approximately 155 enjoyed a delicious meal and honored not only Grant Schlotman but also a number of outstanding fathers from around the state.
The Nebraska Father of the Year program was started by Christian Heritage in 2007 as a way to recognize outstanding Nebraska fathers, promote fatherhood, and encourage the involvement of fathers in the lives of their children. This year 116 nominations were made for outstanding fathers in 55 Nebraska communities.
