CONGRATULATIONS TO THE
2008 NEBRASKA FATHER OF THE YEAR!

Craig Loeffelholz of Ravenna has been named 2008 Nebraska Father of the Year.
Craig is actively involved with his wife, Stacie, in the care of eleven-year-old daughter Taylor and eight-year-old son Jackson, both of whom are handicapped. According to friend Janelle Grabowski, who nominated him for the award, Craig helps care for the children from the time they get up to the time he carries them off to bed at night. This includes feeding, bathing, dressing, and seeing them off to school. He sees to it that the children live full and happy lives, regularly attending church and VBS, dressing up for trick-or-treating, having roller skating parties, swimming, hunting, and riding horses for therapy. The Loeffelholzes also serve as legal guardians for Stacie's teenaged cousin.
Craig was honored at athe 2008 Father of the Year luncheon held on June 12 at Embassy Suites in Lincoln. Nearly 200 attended, including a large number of friends and relatives from Ravenna.
